There is something so special to me about family portraits. It’s easy to get caught up in everyday life and postpone doing family photos, especially as kids get older. But these are the portraits are often cherished the most! They get hung on the walls of grandparents houses and passed on for generations. Lindsey reached out to me one day and wanted to coordinate family photos with her family (husband and children) as well as her brothers and her parents. I thought it was so sweet that she wanted to do this for her family. They chose Downtown Winter Garden as their session location, and it was absolutely perfect! I had never been there before, but I can definitely tell you that it is one of my top favorites now!

Downtown Winter Garden was so perfect, there were 3 different locations within walking distance that we chose to spend some time at! We started the session with the large group portraits, and then did all the combinations of the family you could think of! This sweet family was SO much fun to photograph, I had such a great time spending a Sunday morning with them.

I’ve been asked a lot lately if I still do portrait sessions for things other than weddings, and the answer is- YES! I offer portrait sessions year round! Family, Maternity, Anniversary are just a few of the many different types of portrait sessions that I do. I always love to encourage my clients to do family portraits once a year! It is so nice to be able to have updated portraits on your wall, and it is special being able to look back at how everyone has changed over the years.
