Ocala Engagement Session | Liz + Spencer

When I met Liz + Spencer for the first time, I felt like I had known them for years! I was SO excited to give them a big hug and to finally spend time with them in person after chatting with them over social media for months. They decided they wanted to do their Ocala Engagement Session on their family property, which was a photographer’s dream, y’all! When I pulled up, I was in heaven!

Liz + Spencer are one of my couples who have had their wedding plans impacted by the coronavirus. They were set to get married this October, but made the difficult decision to postpone their special day to next year. Spencer’s family would be traveling from Canada, and with all of the travel restrictions and quarantine’s in effect, it would be difficult for their loved ones to be able to be there with them in October. Liz told me “we’d rather just wait and have all of our loved ones there with us next year!” and I knew exactly how that felt.

We had the BEST time together venturing around the property chasing the sunlight! If you’ve followed along on other blog posts, you’ll know I have a tendency to attract snakes, which I am terrified of. At one point, we thought we heard a rattle, so we quickly moved to a different location. I was not taking any chances!

I am so excited to share some of my favorites from their Ocala engagement session with you on the blog today! Liz + Spencer, thank you for being so welcoming, kind, and fun! You two are naturals in front of the camera! I am so excited to capture your wedding next Spring. Also, thank you for letting me meet your family’s Sphynx cats! It was totally the highlight of my week (in addition to doing your portraits!)
