Where do I even begin! Jana and Matt’s Downtown Tampa Engagement Session was absolutely perfect in every way. The sweetest couple, a handsome pup, and gorgeous fall Florida weather makes for a beautiful engagement session!

I met Jana and Matt last winter, when their wedding coordinator introduced us at a Bridal Expo. I truly felt like I had known them my entire life. After chatting for a few minutes, Jana and Matt expressed their desire to have me capture their big day, and I was ecstatic! They are currently planning their wedding for Spring 2021, and I cannot wait to see how gorgeous it will be!

We had their engagement session scheduled for early Spring 2020, and then… the coronavirus pandemic. We decided to postpone their session until the summer, but then I got a text from Jana that Matt had injured his knee and would need surgery. It would be a few months before he was off crutches. We ended up doing their session in the fall, and it could not have been more perfect! The love they have for each other is so apparent in the way they interact, and it is just the sweetest!

As much as I loved having Jana + Matt in front of my camera, their pup, Ross, kind of stole the show! He was so happy to be in included in mom and dad’s engagement portraits and even had a personalized bandana to show off his humans getting married!
