I absolutely love graduation sessions! There is something so special about being able to document the exciting time of their lives as one chapter closes and another one opens for graduates, and Kate’s graduation session was no exception. This sweet girl is graduating from the University of Louisville and is getting ready to embark on her next adventure!

Kate is graduating from the University of Louisville, where she was a member of the rowing team. Check out those ACC championship medals! When Kate asked me about doing her portraits, she said she wanted something unique and fun. I had this vision in my head that the Downtown Orlando skyline would look awesome. I’m pretty sure she almost ran in the opposite direction when I suggested we go to a parking garage- she looked at me like I was crazy! Why on earth would we take portraits in a parking garage?! She was totally down for it though so we headed up to the top of a parking garage and it was such an amazing view! The weather was gorgeous, the sun was setting, and she said “this is awesome!” It was the best time and full of laughter! I kept singing “Who run the world? Girls!” the entire time. 🙂

But, there was also something else we were capturing! She wanted to announce that she had been accepted into MEDICAL SCHOOL! Kate is pursuing her dream of being a physician, and plans to become a pediatrician. I know she will be a phenomenal doctor and all of the patients she sees will love her.
