Bok Tower Gardens Engagement | Brie + James

They say the third time is the charm, but in this case, it was the fourth time for us! Brie + James were stunning at their Bok Tower Gardens Engagement session last month. We were supposed to do their session back in April, but rescheduled three times due to torrential thunderstorms and a positive covid test. So four different dates on the calendar, but it was SO worth it! On the day of our session, it was absolutely beautiful out, just a tad bit hot and humid at a whopping 96 degrees. These two handled it like pros though!

I met Brie in the spring of 2021, as she was the maid of honor in a wedding I photographed. When she got engaged, she reached out to me even before setting her date with her venue! As a photographer, having bridal party members reach out to us for their own wedding is truly the best feeling. While i’ve only known Brie for a year, it feels like we have been friends forever.

And let me talk about James for a minute- he is a character! Let’s be honest, sometimes groom’s are not thrilled to be taking an hours worth of photos. He was such a sport about it and even had me cracking up the entire time. I can only imagine how fun he and his groomsmen will be on their wedding day!

Brie + James, thank you for choosing me to be a part of this chapter in your lives! I am so darn excited for your wedding next spring! I felt so bad we had to postpone so much due to weather, but am so happy your session was perfect in the end. I’m sharing some of my favorites from Brie + James’ Bok Tower Gardens Engagement session with you on the blog today!
